Showing my island paintings at this remote gallery at Isle Ornsay in this most beautiful location on Skye has been quite an institution. This would have been my 29th year manning the show, but due to Covid-19 restrictions my exhibition will sadly not be going ahead at the gallery. However, it will be going ahead online!

Back to Tiree! It's been a long time since I’ve been there! I used to visit regularly - the first time in 2001. It always captured my imagination hearing about the beaches and quaint cottages. It’s been my source of inspiration in many paintings.

Jubilee Skye School Landscape Competition

A Summer Landscape A4 size Competition for Skye and Lochalsh school pupils. Deadline 6th of August to be sent to Pam Carter at Gallery an Talla Dearg, Isle Ornsay, Isle of skye IV43 8QR. Please enclose a stamp addressed envelope for returns. Four prizes of £50 plus ancillaries for each age group and the best 30 to be mounted and displayed side by side with my Exhibition from 18th to 21st August 2016.

Jubilee Exhibition Isle Ornsay

This year is my 25th year exhibiting at Isle Ornsay. As always I'll be painting in the Gallery. I've arranged a few Fun events. A School Landscape Competition, An Oil Painting Demo and a Fundraising Raffle.
