Original Paintings and Commissions
The work is always ongoing. Email me if there is a specific original painting that interests you. It may still be available or you may wish to commission something similar to a painting seen on the website or my portfolio to a size of your preference.
To explain the commission route, my paintings are rarely static - they are in and out of galleries all the time and I find that although I may have paintings available, they may not be what you are looking for. By viewing the website, or discussing things with me, we can firm up what you would like. As you will see from the website, I paint a number of themes - sunlit beaches, moody skies, white cottages, wildflowers, mountain ranges, flights of birds, quirky sheep, harbours and beached boats, islands and sunsets.
Each location and island has a different character, so if you have seen something from one of the Islands or themes I could do something similar. Sometimes there are variations of the same view. I like to know what it is you like and try and work closely to that - such as colours, mood, weather, detail and icons. It will never be an absolute reproduction as the brushstrokes have a life of their own! As it is something that I may paint anyway, if it does not turns out how you hoped and I am unable to alter it, I would simply put it back into exhibition. I normally take about 8 weeks.
